Please note that oyster tasting is dependant on weather and if leases are open for harvest. If there are no oysters available, an alternative snack will be provided.

  • Meeting place for this tour is next to the Marine Rescue building in Spencer Park, Main St, Merimbula.
  • Parking is available in the park, and also on the surrounding streets.
  • Toilets are also available at the park.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Closed toe footwear that can get wet eg. runners, water booties.
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen
  • A water bottle
  • A smile and sense of adventure :)

Optional items include: camera, mobile phone (with tether and waterproof pouch)

FAQ's

Maximum Group Size

Kayak tours will have a maximum of 12 participants. We can accommodate larger groups by request.


Children

Children over the age of 8 are welcome on all tours. If you are travelling with children under 8 years old, you will need to book a private tour.


Safety

To look after your safety, our guides are trained in Wilderness or Remote Area First Aid and carry emergency communication equipment and backcountry first aid kits.

cancellations

In the event of a tour cancellation due to weather or other reasons on our end, we will promptly inform you and provide you with another option or a complete refund.


Should you decide to cancel:


  • More than 7 days before the tour, an administrative fee of 10% of the total amount paid may be retained.
  • Between 48 hours and 7 days before the tour, a retention of 50% of the total amount paid may apply.
  • Less than 48 hours before the tour or in case of a no-show, 100% of the total amount paid may be retained.
